No dia 06 de março de 2004, o presidente da LBV, José de Paiva Neto, gravou uma prece ao lado do menino Fábio. Quase 19 anos depois, Fábio Manoel do Nascimento tem 24 anos, é pai de uma filha (Alice de um ano) e é casado com Jessica. Atualmente, trabalha na Fábrica Lupo, há 5 anos. Mora em Araraquara há 20 anos. Ele nasceu em 1998, na cidade de Suzano.
Legião da Boa Vontade é uma entidade beneficente, sem fins econômicos, de caráter educacional, cultural e de assistência social. Foi fundada oficialmente em 1º de janeiro de 1950, Dia da Paz e da Confraternização Universal, no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, pelo radialista Alziro Zarur.
